Saving one dog will not change the world, but it will change the world forever for that one dog.

Part I – Development
I have been doing C# development for a while now, but it was not until I got my current job at Hedgehog Development where I was able to really learn what it means to be a great developer. We have an amazing group of extremely intelligent people to work with that will always keep you on your toes. It’s because of them that I enjoy doing what I do every day and continuously have a drive to keep learning.
Part II – Animal Rescue Advocate
In March of 2013 I started volunteering at Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Since then, I have met so many great people and fell in love with tons of amazing animals who are looking for homes. I spend as much time there as I can, and have personally gotten to know just about every dog there. Having this experience has really made me realize how rewarding adopting (or even just spending time with) shelter animals can be and has pushed me to anything I can do to help them find happiness in a forever home. For every dog that gets adopted, another one comes into the shelter, so our work is never done!
Part III – Obstacle Course Races
In 2012 my fellow Hedgehogs and I formed the Muddy Hedgehogs Race Team. The sense of accomplishment from finishing my first race was enough to get us hooked. Since then, we have ran in lots of different races like Rebel Race, Survival Race, Zombie Race, Color Run, Rugged Maniac, Warrior Dash, Spartan Race, Tough Mudder and lots more. These races prove to be a great source of teamwork and camaraderie for not just our team but every racer on the course.
Part IV – Gaming
Well, if i’m not doing any of the above three activities, this is probably where I will be. I will give pretty much anything a try. Usually I stick to RPG’s, the Final Fantasy series tops the list, but I enjoy a few shooters from time to time. However, when I need to get my creative and design juices flowing, spending a little time building in Minecraft does wonders to get the brain going.
